The indictment states that on the evening of April 10, an Egyptian citizen climbed over the wall into the territory of the embassy.
He then allegedly poured flammable liquid on bicycles, a garden hose, dead leaves and brickwork at the foot of the embassy building and set the liquid on fire, causing a fire.
Later, the man was charged with vandalism because he painted the wall of the embassy with paint.
In a court in Copenhagen, a 25-year-old Egyptian confessed to arson and vandalism of the Egyptian embassy. Currently, it is not specified what punishment he faces.
