This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

As you know, the other day, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, said that he does not believe in the possibility of a total defeat of Ukraine, but the already occupied territories are unlikely to be returned.

“There can be no half-hearted solutions when it comes to human lives, freedom, shared values, justice for Russian crimes, restoration of international peace and security. In this context, temporary solutions will not restore full-fledged peace, but will only postpone the war,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The foreign policy department called for joint efforts to implement the peace formula “in the interests of all peace-loving nations that respect the UN Charter and the value of human life.”

“We must together increase the pressure on Russia in order to force it to a just peace, the liberation of the territories of Ukraine and respect for international law. This is a realistic scenario that we are able to realize with joint efforts,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Peter Pavel’s statement regarding the war in UkraineAs UNIAN reported, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, in an interview with The New York Times, said that as a result of the war, Ukraine will lose territories.

As the politician said, Ukraine “will have to be realistic” about the prospects of returning the territories occupied by the Russians.

In turn, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radoslaw Sikorski, said that the war in Ukraine can end only when Putin admits that the invasion was a mistake and that he will not achieve his goals at an acceptable price. However, now the Russian dictator “has not reached such a conclusion”
