A total of 137 military clashes took place since the beginning of this day. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repulse the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on him. Operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on September 24 was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian invaders launched one missile strike, 57 airstrikes, dropping 82 guided aerial bombs on the territory of Ukraine.
In addition, more than 730 kamikaze drones were engaged for destruction and more than 3,600 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units in the Vovchansk area three times in vain. At the same time, enemy aviation from the Shebekino (Russian Federation) side inflicted devastating blows with guided aerial bombs on the residential areas and civilian infrastructure of Kharkov (seven KAB) and Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, Andriivka, Pischany, Kruglyakivka, and Lozova. Ukrainian defenders stopped 11 enemy attacks. The battle is still going on near Kruglyakivka.
In the Lymansky direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 22 times near Druzhelyubivka, Cherneshchyna, Grekivka, Nevsky, Torsky, Makiivka, Zarichny, and Novosadovo. Seven clashes are still ongoing.
In the Siverskyi direction, our defenders repelled three assaults by the occupying forces in the direction of Verkhnokamyanskyi and Bilogorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked our positions near Mankivka, Kalynyvka, Stupochky and Bila Gora. The defense forces stopped seven attacks by the invaders, two more clashes are ongoing.
There were 10 battles in the Toretsk direction. The Russians also, with the support of aviation, stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the direction of Toretsk and Shcherbinivka. All attacks of the aggressor were repelled.
In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy attacked 24 times in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretsk, Zeleny Pol, Novogrodivka, Krasny Yar, Mykolaivka, and Marynivka. Our defenders repelled 23 enemy assaults. The battle is still going on near Krasny Yar. Today, according to preliminary data, 328 occupiers were neutralized in this area, 134 of them irreversibly. Five tanks, six BBM and eight cars were also destroyed. Another tank, three BBMs, 11 artillery systems and three cars were damaged.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy made 19 attempts to break through our defenses near Tsukuriny, Zhelany Drugo, Georgiivka, Dalny, Kostyantynivka, and Katerynivka. Fifteen clashes have ended, four more are still ongoing. In this direction, according to preliminary data, the loss of the enemy as irreversible and wounded amounted to 52 people. An armored combat vehicle and a car were also destroyed.
In the Vremivsk direction, the enemy attacked our units eight times near Vugledar, Pavlivka, Katerynivka, and Vodyanyi. At this time, our soldiers repelled half of the attacks, four more skirmishes are ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction, the invading troops tried in vain to dislodge units of the Defense Forces from their occupied positions three times in vain. They suffered losses and retreated.
There are no significant changes in the rest of the directions.
The operation is ongoing in the Kursk region. Enemy aviation continues to destroy its villages and cities with guided aerial bombs.
Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 118th separate mechanized brigade, the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Kostya Hordienko, the chieftain of Kostya, and the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after Colonel-General Mark Bezruchka, who are effectively destroying the enemy, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.
