The Prosecutor General’s Office specifies that 16 men, 17 women and one minor – a 17-year-old girl – were injured. Three people died.
As a result of the direct hit of an aerial bomb in a nine-story apartment building in the Kyiv district, a woman remains missing. The search and rescue operation is ongoing.
According to local authorities, on September 24 at around 3:30 p.m., Russian troops struck the Kyiv, Nemyshlyan, Saltiv, and Shevchenko districts of Kharkiv.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that an aerial bomb hit a nine-story residential building in the Kyiv region – a woman died, 20 more people were injured, in the Nemyshlyanskyi region an aerial bomb hit a bakery shop – a woman died, 8 more people were injured,
and in Saltivsk, a woman was killed and three more people were injured as a result of a bomb hitting a house and a playground. Also, in the Shevchenkiv district of the city, an aerial bomb hit a forest strip.
The forces of the Russian Federation regularly attack Ukrainian regions, in particular Kharkiv and Kharkiv Oblast, with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
