Since the beginning of the invasion, the Russian army has been doing things that cannot be justified under the UN Charter… That is why this war cannot be stopped simply by negotiations. Actions are required. Putin has violated many international rules, he will not stop himself, Russia can only be forced to peace. This is exactly what is needed – to force the Russian Federation to accept peace and stop the aggressor in this war,” he added.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi is in the USA, where he plans to attend the session of the UN General Assembly, as well as present Ukraine’s “victory plan” to US President Joe Biden, as well as presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. According to the media, a meeting between Zelenskyi and Trump has not yet been scheduled.
Zelensky is scheduled to meet with Biden and Harris on September 26. Trump said last week that he would “probably” meet with Zelensky.
