By July 2025, the Blue Lake on the western edge of the Vynogradar residential area in the Podilsky district should be restored. In October 2023, the lake dried up.
It is planned to clear the lake to a depth of 5 meters to reveal the ground springs, clean the connecting channel, and to join the lake in a ring to equalize the water levels and prevent stagnation.
In addition to cleaning, improvement of the area around the lake is planned. UAH 4.14 million has been allocated for a children’s sports and game complex, gazebos, benches with canopies, beach showers and changing rooms, shade canopies for the beach, birdhouses and a pedestrian bridge across the lake.
Another 2.84 million hryvnias were allocated for modular buildings for administration premises, a first aid station, a public toilet, rental points and a rescue tower.
Overpayments on construction materials were found in the summary information of resources. For example, hot-rolled reinforcing steel of class A-III with a diameter of 12 mm was taken into account at UAH 49,594/t. On the website of the company “Metinvest-SMC” for Kyiv, such fittings cost UAH 32,000/t, which is one and a half times cheaper.
Also, Reno mattresses measuring 4x2x0.23 m were ordered for UAH 4,986/piece. The construction company “Bereg” offers such gabion mattresses for UAH 3,430/piece, and the Geotex online store sells them for UAH 3,360/piece, which is one and a half times cheaper.
The competitor of “Princess Lybid” in the tender was “Pmk-Kyiv” LLC, which submitted a 1% cheaper offer, but it was rejected due to errors in imposing a qualified electronic signature.
