“Wojciech Szczesny can resume his career”, — write: sport.ua
Barcelona continue their search for a new goalkeeper in the free agent market after the Catalans’ main goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen suffered a serious injury. According to Spanish media, “Barcelona” has turned its attention to ex-Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesna.
He ended his career only in August of this year, and the Catalans hope to convince the Pole to resume his career. That doesn’t seem like a tall order, given that Szczesny planned to play until at least the summer of 2025, and was forced to retire only because he was no longer needed by Juventus.
In addition to Szczesna, “Barcelona” is also considering the candidacy of Keylor Navas and Claudio Bravo.
