In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russians sentenced a resident of Zaporozhye to 14 years in prison for “espionage”. The man allegedly collected and transmitted to Ukraine data on the work of anti-aircraft missile units of the Russian army in the partially occupied Zaporizhzhia region.

“The so-called Supreme Court of Crimea occupied by Russians sentenced a citizen of Ukraine from Zaporizhzhia to 14 years in a strict regime prison in a case of espionage (Article 276 of the Criminal Code),” the message reads.
It is noted that the convict is Mykhailo Sukhachev. The case of espionage, which was initially considered by the Sverdlovsk Regional Court, was found by journalists of the publication. The matter arrived there on March 6. In less than two weeks, the case was referred to jurisdiction.
The occupiers claim that Sukhachev collected and transmitted to Ukraine data on the work of anti-aircraft missile units of the Russian army on the territory of the partially occupied Zaporizhzhia region.
