Ukraine’s victory plan, which President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is presenting in the United States of America, contains a clear vision of the steps that must be taken to ensure a just and lasting peace. The head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, said this during a speech at the Council on International Relations in New York.

The head of the Office of the Head of State emphasized that the Victory Plan consists of military and diplomatic parts.

“We must have the advantage on the battlefield to force Putin to cease hostilities. We are trying very hard. Without ships, we destroyed the Black Sea Fleet. Lacking air superiority, we stopped the Russian advance in most directions, including Kharkov. Without fear, we returned the war to Russia,” he said.

Andriy Yermak noted that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukraine has increased its weapons production sixfold. However, we still lack the resources, technology and time to produce everything we need.

“I call on our allies to increase and speed up the delivery of military aid packages. Means of anti-aircraft defense, drones, means of radio-electronic warfare, long-range systems and artillery shells are on our priority list,” the head of the President’s Office emphasized.

Andriy Yermak also called on partners to increase investment in the production of Ukrainian weapons and emphasized the importance of granting Ukraine permission to strike on the territory of the Russian Federation and the use of frozen Russian assets to support our state.

During the discussion that took place after the speech, the head of the President’s Office outlined the prospects for holding the second Peace Summit and preliminary preparatory work, which involves a series of thematic conferences on each of the points of the Peace Formula of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Andriy Yermak also noted that Ukraine’s invitation to NATO is part of the Victory Plan, and urged partners not to heed threats of escalation from Russia.
