Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga discussed further support for Ukraine and cooperation between the countries with his Japanese counterpart Yoko Kamikawa. The parties coordinated the steps regarding the Peace Formula, restoration of Ukraine, energy aid, the minister announced on Tuesday on the X social network, writes UNN.

“He held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Yoko Kamikawa, during which he expressed gratitude to the government and people of Japan for the support that saves the lives of Ukrainians. We coordinated further steps in promoting President Zelenskyi’s Peace Formula, strengthening the role of Japan and Japanese companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine and increasing energy aid to our state,” Sybiga wrote.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs separately thanked for the expected opening of the representative office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Kyiv already this fall.

“This important step will contribute to the increase of trade and investments between our countries. We hope for the further development of our strategic cooperation,” the minister said.
