According to the president, “issues of critical importance for Ukraine were discussed at Stavka”.
Zelenskyi says that the first issue was the protection of the energy sector in the winter period. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko reported.
“We considered the state of the engineering protection of the objects, the schedule for the completion of fortifications, the placement of EW and air defense systems, including taking into account Patriot systems, which we expect in the near future,” the head of state said.
The second issue, according to Zelenskyi, was the production of missiles, drones and electronic warfare equipment in Ukraine. It is known that the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Defense Minister Rustem Umyerov and Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga reported.
“Decisions that will allow our industry to realize its potential to the maximum extent: long-term contracts from the state and attraction of foreign investments,” the president clarified.
Zelensky clarified that another issue raised at Stavka was the situation at the front.
“The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky talked about all the main directions. The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, and the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleg Ivashchenko, also reported,” the president concluded.
Zelenskyi held a preliminary meeting of the Stavka on September 16. At it, he instructed the General Staff to provide a list of measures to improve the work of combat training centers.
