There are different points. President Zelenskyi has already said that there are four main points and one additional one. Each point has its own purpose and task. And each point has its own filling”, – noted the analyst on the air of the telethon.
According to him, it is known from open sources that one point of the victory plan concerns weapons. There is a list of specific types of weapons, and it is quite likely that Ukraine may say “yes” to certain types in the near future.
“Perhaps we will receive some types of weapons that are in this plan already in the nearest packages of military aid. As for other types, perhaps they still need to be prepared, the possibility of providing Ukraine with these types of weapons will still be investigated, so it may be later And some types of weapons will still need to be produced for Ukraine, and this may happen next year,” Fesenko explained.
The same applies to some political and economic points of the victory plan. “There may be points that will need to be adopted by the US Congress. In particular, one of the specific points is the continuation of military and financial support to Ukraine. And for this, the consent of Congress is needed,” Fesenko added.
According to the political scientist, some points of the Ukrainian victory plan can be implemented already by the next US president. “Therefore, it will not be possible to wait for the issue to be resolved, either in full approval or rejection. The implementation of individual points or individual details of this plan may take at least several months,” he noted.
Fesenko is sure that within the framework of the Ukrainian victory plan, the question of launching strikes with long-range weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation is one of the main points. “There have been active negotiations about this since the beginning of September, not only between Ukraine and the USA, but also between the USA and Great Britain. Therefore, without a doubt, this point is in the plan of victory, and it will be one of the main topics in the negotiations between Presidents Zelenskyi and Biden.” , – he stated.
The political scientist believes that contacts with the leaders of the countries of the Global South are now very important in the context of the invitation to the second peace summit and to explain the position of Kyiv, the promotion of Ukrainian interests in the context of the end of the war.
