As a result of the attack on the Russian 23rd arsenal in the village of Oktyabrsky, Tver region, almost 60 warehouse buildings, a railway depot and trains with ammunition were destroyed or badly damaged, as confirmed by new satellite images.
This was reported by the Twitter account (X) of an American OSINT researcher under the nickname MT_Anderson.
Photos showing the destruction of the second large military depot of the Russian Federation, hit by the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Tver region, appeared online.
It is about the 23rd arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (DRAU) in the village of Oktyabrsky, which was attacked by drones on the night of September 21.
This warehouse is located not far from the city of Toropets, where on September 18 there was an explosion at the 107th arsenal of the DRAU.
According to the OSINT researcher, the warehouse in Zhovtnev was recorded “significant damage to the northern part of the depot.”
“More than 58 warehouse buildings and several outdoor areas were reduced to ashes or suffered serious damage,” the publication noted.
The analyst also added that the loading and unloading areas of the railway were affected, and probably trains with ammunition were in the area at the time of the impact.
