Both technologies are aimed at speeding up and increasing the accuracy of diagnosis, which is of crucial importance in veterinary medicine. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, the risk of developing cancer in dogs is significant: almost every fourth dog develops neoplasia during its lifetime, and for dogs over 10 years of age, the cancer incidence rate reaches almost 50%. Reducing the waiting time for test results not only reduces the stress level for pet owners, but also allows veterinarians to start treatment at the earliest stages, when it is most effective.

The AIS RapidRead diagnostic tool uses artificial intelligence (AI) for the analysis of medical images. Thanks to this system, the time of decoding images is reduced from several hours or even days to a matter of minutes. At the same time, Nu.Q significantly facilitates the process of screening for oncological diseases, which also contributes to faster receipt of diagnostic results.

AIS RapidRead is trained on the world’s largest pet X-ray library, allowing the system to act as a “virtual radiologist” and veterinary assistant. The technology has already proven its effectiveness: more than 5,000 clinical cases were analyzed during the pilot program in 2023. The results showed that AIS RapidRead contributes to the early detection of pathologies, increases the accuracy of diagnosis and optimizes the work processes of veterinary clinics.

“By providing a faster and more reliable diagnostic process, this development has the potential to advance the overall development of modern veterinary medicine,” believes Dr. Lilly Ock of Veterinary Medicine, who personally worked with AIS RapidRead during the pilot phase. AIS RapidRead, significantly increase the efficiency of diagnostics. The system helps to confirm a previous diagnosis or reveal previously unnoticed details. This significantly improves the accuracy of diagnosis and allows making more informed decisions regarding the appointment of therapy. This is especially important for pet owners, who often have to worry for hours while waiting for a diagnosis.”

Nu.Q® Canine Cancer Test technology is a major step forward in the fight against cancer in dogs. Nu.Q® is a screening tool designed specifically for senior dogs and breeds at high risk for cancer. It can detect common cancers, including lymphoma and hemangiosarcoma, with over 75% accuracy. This allows veterinarians and pet owners to make informed treatment decisions more quickly.
