– In social networks there is a message about the alleged beating of a man who became a “language inspector” in Ivano-Frankivsk. After verifying the information at the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Center informs that recently there have been no there were no reports of any language-based crimes, the statement said.

The center added that such fakes are spread by Russian propaganda to create the illusion of a split in Ukrainian society over the language issue.

– It is also worth noting that the initiative on “language inspectors” does not work, it was only voiced at the level of an idea, which was used by propaganda, – concluded the NSDC.
