Russian troops used more than 900 guided aerial bombs, about 400 Shahed attack drones and almost 30 missiles of various types against Ukraine in one week, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on September 22.

“We need to strengthen our capabilities to protect people’s lives and safety even more. Ukraine needs a full-fledged long-range. We will convince our partners and will continue to talk about it next week,” Zelenskyy wrote in a telegram, recalling the evening attack by the Russian Federation on Kharkiv, which injured 21 people, including three children.

Zelensky will visit the United States of America next week, where he will meet with US President Joe Biden and Democratic and Republican presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump and present them with his “victory plan”.

Zelenskyy is seeking to bolster global support for Kyiv’s fight against Russian aggression and obtain permission — particularly from the United States and Britain — to use Western weapons to strike Russian territory to help prevent attacks by Russian forces on Ukrainian civilian and military targets.
