– Of course, it’s unpleasant after the game – and that’s putting it mildly. These are emotions, but I will not say that they are negative. It will be necessary to do an analysis. Many matches, I will not say that we are tired, because it is better to play than to train. I believe that “Rukh” has a very good team, it proved it at the beginning of the championship and in today’s match. They run a lot, at the same time not mindlessly, and this is a big plus, it is very interesting to play with such teams. Respect to them, and we have something to work on, we will be stronger.
– What was missing? Something in terms of the fight or precisely in the final phase?
– There was enough struggle both on our side and on their side. In my opinion, if the fans watch the game, they will not be able to blame us for the lack of desire. We went to the junctions, our legs were all bruised, but in football the one who scores the ball into the opponent’s goal wins. And we had enough chances, and they did. I can’t say that there were many opportunities, but there were many prerequisites for the goals. We just had to manage our moments better somewhere – sometimes the goalkeeper played well, sometimes we had a fart, sometimes they did. I think the final stage is limping a little, and this applies not only to us, but also to many teams, including in Europe. It is necessary to work, and only in this way, through practice, realization will come.
– The next game is against Lazio. With what mood will you approach this game? Despite the fact that they lost points with “Movement”, the unbeaten streak continues
– It’s great that the game is already in four days. If it was, for example, a week before it, you would still subconsciously resort to analysis, get upset. And here the game is coming soon, all of Ukraine will be watching us, I hope a lot of people will come to the stands, we are playing for our country on the European arena. But we had “Rukh”, ahead of “Lazio”, after it “Levy Bereg”… We will adjust to “Lazio” in the same way as to “Rukh”. It’s very interesting, I and the team are waiting for this match, we will give everything to bring home points.
– Have you already analyzed “Lazio”?
– We move step by step. We were preparing for “Rukh”, but “Lazio” will still have time to see. The coach will tell us about our future schedule, and we will prepare. But “Lazio” is a good team, there are no weak teams here. So it will be interesting. We have already played against good teams, raised the bar, the fans expect a result from us, so we need to keep it – and this is the minimum task.
– In general, did you watch Lazio matches on your own, did you analyze something for yourself?
– To be honest, not yet. I haven’t been home for a long time, I came – family, children, I haven’t seen you for a long time. That’s why I was not interested in football (smiles), I had to pay attention to my family. I think the coaches will tell us everything in detail, show enough matches. When the national team played against Albania, Khusai was against us on the right wing – a good defender. That’s all I can say.
