On Sunday morning, the Al Jazeera channel reported that the Israeli military had stormed his office in the West Bank city of Ramallah. The military handed over an order to close the bureau for 45 days to one of the channel’s employees. After that, the broadcast of the channel was interrupted.
In response to Israel’s actions, Palestinian journalists condemned the move, calling it “another violation of journalists’ rights and freedom of speech”, stressing that journalists expose crimes committed by the occupation authorities against the Palestinian people.
