Updated at 18:32 Sumy OVA reported that on September 21, Russia carried out an attack on Sumy, using anti-aircraft missiles. According to preliminary data, one person was injured as a result of the impact. Also, according to OVA, dry vegetation caught fire and houses were destroyed and damaged. At present, the consequences of the attack are being eliminated.
The Sumy City Council reported that two explosions took place in opposite areas of the city — in summer cottage and industrial zones. The Baranivka district was left without electricity due to a line break as a result of the attack.
