The Department of Psychological Support of the Armed Forces continues to implement changes in the psychological support of servicemen.

Valentina Obolentseva, acting head of the Department, spoke about the department’s key plans for the coming periods.

“We aim to introduce qualitative psychological selection at the level of the TCC to determine where a soldier can best prove himself and which brigades will be most suitable for his service. This will help to use human capital effectively,” said Valentina Obolentseva.

It is also planned to involve civilian psychologists in the ranks of the Armed Forces.

According to Valentina Obolentseva, such specialists will be further trained to work as military psychologists, after which they will be able to hold officer positions.

“This is an important step to provide our units with qualified psychological support,” she added.

The development of psychological support in the Armed Forces involves a combination of civilian and military practices to increase the moral and psychological stability of defenders of Ukraine.

As reported by ArmyInform, the Ministry of Defense is launching a pilot project of complex rehabilitation of servicemen.
