Oleksandr KEMKIN: “Carpathians scored a goal in the match with Chornomorets”

The 7th round of the UPL opened with a match in Odesa, where the players of “Chernomorets” lost to “Karpaty” – 0:1.

Lviv goalkeeper Oleksandr Kemkin exclusively for Sport.ua, he told whether it was difficult to restrain the attack of the home team from the 66th minute, when the “green and white” were in the minority:

– I believe that before Volodymyr Adamyuk was sent off, “Karpaty” dominated and scored on their own goal, which was scored by Taras Sakiv.

Of course, when they were in the minority, especially without an experienced defender, the Odessans stepped up and tried to seize the initiative, but it did not come to scoring moments near our goal. What’s more, under the veil of confrontation, the guests were closer to scoring a second time than the hosts were to save themselves from defeat.

It is important that the defeat in the previous round against “Shakhtar” did not knock the “green and white” off the track. We analyzed that match with the Miners and forgot. It is pleasing that already in the third match “Karpaty” kept the gate on the “castle”. I feel that we are adding. We move on.

Currently, “Karpaty” is in ninth place, having scored eight points.

We will remind that in the match of the 7th round of the UPL, Lviv “Karpaty” won a minimal victory over Odesa “Chornomorets” (1:0).
