Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk (#18 WTA) continued her performances at the WTA 500 hard tournament in Seoul (South Korea).
In the 1/4 finals, the Ukrainian, seeded 5, met Diana Schneider (No. 20 WTA), the 4th seed of the tournament, and lost in two sets.

Diana Schneider (4) – Marta Kostyuk (Ukraine, 5) – 7:6 (9:7), 6:3
In the tie-break of the first game, Kostyuk led 6:3, but did not realize three set balls in a row. At 6:6 Marta lost another chance to win the game.
It was the 1st meeting of tennis players.
In the 1/2 finals, the winner of the match will fight against Daria Kasatkina (No. 13 WTA), who made it to the quarterfinals on the refusal of Emma Radukan from Great Britain.
