As a result of the air strike on Beirut, one of the commanders of “Hezbollah” Ibrahim Akil and at least 10 other commanders of the terrorist group were eliminated.

Details: The IDF said Akil and Radwan commanders were among the masterminds of the Galilee attack plan, in which Hezbollah planned to take over Israeli communities in northern Israel, similar to what Hamas did on October 7 last year.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the killing of one of Hezbollah’s commanders, Akil, as a result of an airstrike in Beirut.
The Hezbollah terrorist group released a statement confirming Aqeel.
It also said that Aqeel was killed along with at least 10 other top commanders of the terrorist group.
According to the US State Department, Akil was wanted since September 2019 for his involvement in the 1980s with the terrorist cell of Hezbollah – Islamic Jihad.
The organization claimed responsibility for the bombings of the US Embassy in Beirut in April 1983, which killed 63 people, and the US Marine barracks in October 1983, which killed 241 US servicemen.
In the 1980s, Akil led the capture of American and German hostages in Lebanon and held them there.
The US has announced a reward of up to $7 million for information about Akil.
