The Breaking Defense publication learned some details of the F-16 crash that killed Ukrainian pilot Oleksiy Mes, in particular, that the wreckage could have occurred as a result of fragments of a downed Russian missile hitting the plane.

Details: The publication notes that one version is that the F-16 accidentally flew through a cloud of debris from an intercepted and downed Russian missile.

Details: The publication indicates that this version is the most likely, given the previous precedents.
After all, according to the Breaking Defense source, Ukraine has already lost four fighters for the same reason – two MiG-29s and two Sus.
