The State Film Agency of Ukraine expressed its concern in connection with the screening in Serbia of the documentary film “People of Christ – Our Time” directed by Emir Kusturitsa, which promotes a distorted interpretation of the events surrounding the UOC MP.

As reported by Ukrinform, the press service of the State Film Agency of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.

The agency stated that they consider the demonstration of the tape “an attempt to manipulate public opinion and justify pro-Russian narratives that harm Ukraine and its national security.”

Derzhkino calls on the international community to oppose and not support attempts at disinformation that undermine unity and distort the truth about events in Ukraine under conditions of Russian aggression.
