Former world champion David Hay shared his opinion about the upcoming rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.
“Tyson can win the second fight, he has a chance. But I think that Usyk will win again. The first fight was not easy for Usyk, I thought that he would overbox Tyson, tear him to pieces, but everything did not go that way. Usyk has a long amateur career, he is 37 years old… he is not getting any younger, but if I had to bet on the winner of the rematch, it would definitely be Oleksandr,” said Hay.
Earlier, Turki Al-Sheikh announced that the rematch between WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and ex-WBC champion Tyson Fury will take place on December 21, 2024.
