The command of the Ground Forces issued a directive prohibiting the conscription of citizens of limited fitness under the age of 25, People’s Deputy from Eurosolidarity Oleksiy Goncharenko reported in Telegram on Friday, September 20, citing his own data.

There is a directive that prohibits conscription under the age of 25… This is a directive of the Ground Forces Command regarding non-conscription under the age of 25. Clause 1.1. Why the Ground Forces Command? Because the TCC is part of the Ground Forces,” Goncharenko wrote.

According to the people’s deputy, the text of the document dated September 19 is classified.

On September 17, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said that the Ministry of Defense should issue an order in the coming days to prohibit the mobilization of men aged 18 to 25 who have been recognized as having limited fitness during wartime.

At the same time, people’s deputies will discuss with representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff how to release from service those who have already been mobilized and replace them with other fighters, he said.

On September 16, the Committee on National Security and Defense of the Council supported draft law No. 11379-d, which provides for a ban on the mobilization of persons of limited fitness under the age of 25.
