Despite the loss of a third of the fleet of large cargo planes, the gross revenue of JSC “Antonov” airline this year will reach the level of 2021.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the company’s fleet of large cargo planes has shrunk from eight to five. Five An-124 “Ruslan” are currently flying. Before the Russians destroyed the planes at the Gostomel airfield in March 2022, seven An-124 “Ruslan” and one An-225 “Mriya” were carrying cargo.
About 50% of Antonov Airlines’ flights are carried out under the SALIS program, i.e. the transportation of military cargo for NATO customers. Another 50% are commercial customers around the world: satellites, heavy specialized equipment, military cargo, etc.
The EP company said that the rate for transportation under the SALIS program is lower than the market rate, but it is stable. At the same time, commercial customers pay more, but not as regularly.
