Ihor SHEVADZUTSKY: “Joshua will try to end the fight early”

Ihor Shevadzutsky considers Briton Anthony Joshua to be the favorite for the championship fight for the IBF super heavyweight belt. According to the Ukrainian, the current owner of the belt – Daniel Dubois – is not yet ready to face an opponent of Joshua’s level.

“Joshua is the favorite in this fight. He is more experienced and has more boxing skills. Dubois is young, promising, but in my opinion, he is not ready for Joshua.

I think Joshua will try to end the fight early because he needs a clear, convincing victory. And he understands it.

And in general, you should not forget that this is a heavyweight – here everything can be solved with one blow. Both boxers are powerful, both can win by knockout. The fight will be 100% spectacular and I think we will see a knockout,” said Shevadzutskyi in a conversation with Sport.ua correspondent Oleksandr Levchenko.

The fight between Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua will take place on Saturday, September 21, at Wembley Stadium.
