US Vice President Kamala Harris commented on her upcoming meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. A meeting is planned in the USA next week.
Harris wrote about this on her page on the X social network on Friday, September 20.
As Harris noted, this will be her seventh meeting with Zelensky.
“President Biden and I have clearly stated: our support for the Ukrainian people who are fighting for their freedom is unwavering,” she wrote.
On September 19, the Office of the President announced that during his visit to the United States next week, Zelensky plans to meet with both candidates for the post of American president, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
The Ukrainian president will speak at the UN General Assembly, meet with representatives of American defense and energy companies, the Ukrainian community, and hold bilateral talks with leaders of countries and international organizations on the sidelines of the General Assembly.
Earlier, Trump said that he is likely to meet with Zelensky next week.
Bloomberg also noted that Kamala Harris plans to meet with Zelensky in Washington.
