The Norwegian government will increase aid to Ukraine by $475 million in 2024, and will also extend its aid package for another three years — until 2030.
This was announced by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stere, AFP reports.
Norway has already pledged 22 billion kroner in military and civilian aid this year, and an additional five billion kroner will go to “important civilian needs,” the prime minister said.
“We are going through a very dangerous situation in Europe,” Store said.

On August 23, the Norwegian government allowed the transfer of its defense technologies to Ukraine. In particular, we are talking about 155 mm caliber artillery ammunition.
On July 11, it became known that the country will allocate 92.69 million dollars for military aid to Ukraine.
