“Peace must be reliable and it will be so. We are sure of it. I thank everyone who helps us,” the president added.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that preparations for the second Peace Summit are underway, but the date of its holding has not yet been announced. Earlier there were speculations that the next meeting could be held before the elections in the USA.

At the end of July, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Ukraine continues to adhere to the position that it is possible to involve Russia in the second peace summit. At the same time, the spokesman of the ministry noted that Ukraine seeks peace, but this peace must be fair, the issue is also that Russia conducts negotiations in good faith. And here, according to the spokesman, two factors are important – pressure on the battlefield and pressure on the international arena.
On June 15-16, Switzerland hosted the first Global Peace Summit. More than 80 countries and four organizations, including the Council of Europe, the European Commission, the European Council and the European Parliament, supported the joint communique following the results of the Global Peace Summit.
