A fire was reported in the Lviv region due to the falling debris of the downed “Shakhed”

In the Lviv region on the night of September 20, a Russian attack drone “Shakhed” was shot down, a fire broke out as a result of falling debris, no one was injured, the head of the regional military administration Maksym Kozytskyi reported.

“During the air alert that lasted in Lviv region from 03:56 to 04:32 on September 20, one enemy attack drone flew into the airspace of our region. The Zahid air defense forces destroyed it. A fire broke out in one of the villages of our region as a result of the fall of the UAV debris around 04:30. The premises of the former collective farm caught fire. Firefighters promptly extinguished the fire,” Kozytskyi wrote in a telegram.

According to him, three cars were damaged (one truck and two cars), and windows were broken in residential buildings nearby.

At night, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the movement of Shahed groups in a number of regions of Ukraine.

The forces of the Russian Federation regularly attack Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
