“The leaders will discuss the situation in the war between Russia and Ukraine, including Ukrainian strategic plans and US support for Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression. The president and vice president will emphasize their unwavering commitment to support Ukraine until it wins the war,” the White House said in a statement.
Zelenskyi’s press service previously reported that during his visit to the USA next week, he will also meet with Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate.

In addition, the President of Ukraine will speak at the session of the UN General Assembly.
The day before, Zelenskyi said that the Ukrainian “victory plan” is completely ready and now the main thing is “the determination to implement it.”
“There is and cannot be any alternative to peace, no freezing of the war or any other manipulations that will simply move Russian aggression to another stage. We need reliable and long-term security for Ukraine, and therefore for all of Europe,” the president said.
