The legislative assembly of the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation introduced fines for the publication in the media and social networks of photos and videos of Ukrainian drones and the consequences of their attacks, the governor of the region, Vladyslav Shapsha, said.

Administrative liability is established for failure to comply with the decisions of the regional operational headquarters and provides for a fine of four thousand rubles for citizens, 40 thousand rubles for officials and 100 thousand rubles for legal entities. In case of repeated violation, the fine will increase to five thousand, 50 thousand and 200 thousand rubles, respectively.

Vladyslav Shapsha wrote that it is necessary to report such information to law enforcement agencies and noted that “similar decisions have already been made in several regions.”

Previously, a ban on the publication of the consequences of drone actions was introduced in the Kursk and Leningrad regions and St. Petersburg.
