It was not Romania that asked to shoot down Russian drones, but Ukraine: the mass media made corrections to the articleThe German publication FAZ mistakenly reported that Romania asked Ukraine to shoot down Russian drones. In fact, it was Ukrainian Minister Sybiga who addressed Romania with such a request.

The German publication FAZ made a mistake in the material, which referred to Romania’s alleged request to Ukraine to shoot down drones flying towards them, reports UNN.

Currently, the text states that it was the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, who asked Romania to shoot down the drones. The material has already been edited.

Earlier, FAZ reported that Romania asked Ukraine to shoot down Russian drones flying over its territory. During his visit to Bucharest, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiga, discussed military aid and support from the western neighbors.
