There have been 163 combat clashes at the front since the beginning of the day – the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Since the beginning of the day on September 19, 163 combat clashes took place at the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs.

“The Russian invaders carried out 61 airstrikes on the territory of Ukraine, dropping 88 anti-aircraft missiles. In addition, the Russians used to destroy 587 kamikaze drones and carried out more than 3,500 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the evening summary reads.

According to the General Staff, more than half of the battles, as in previous days, took place in two directions – Pokrovsky and Kurakhivskyi.

“Since the beginning of this day, in the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians have tried 36 times to break through our defenses near the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretsk, Grodivka, Myrolyubivka, Mykolaivka, Novogrodika and Marynivka. Four attacks are still ongoing. It is the hottest today in the Kurakhiv direction. The enemy, supported by aviation, attacked our positions near Tsukuryny, Georgiyivka, Kostyantynivka, and Katerynivka 49 times. According to the updated information, 13 clashes are still going on,” the message stated.

Fighting also continued in the Kharkiv, Kupyan, Lyman, Siver, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Vremiv, Orikhov, and Dnieper directions.
