Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!

Rescue operations are currently underway in Sumy after a Russian bomb hit. Hitting a boarding house for the elderly. According to currently available information, there were almost 300 people in the building – more than 200 patients and 60 staff members. The evacuation of people continues and it is checked whether there are people under the rubble. It is already known about the injured, at least one person died. My condolences. Russia could not help but know that this boarding house for the elderly is not a military base, not a military facility. In one day today – at this time – Russian troops have already used almost 90 guided aerial bombs. In our cities, in Ukrainian positions. We will certainly respond to the Russian army for this terror. We will respond in a tangible way.

Today there was a lot of work with the military and special services. The report of Chief Commissar Syrskyi, the report of the Foreign Intelligence Service, a meeting with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the head of the Security Service of Ukraine. We form the content for detailed, thorough negotiations with partners. And this applies to both Donetsk and other areas. Now the Defense Forces of Ukraine managed to reduce the offensive potential of the occupier in Donetsk region. The situation remains extremely difficult, there are heavy battles every day – Kurakhiv direction, Pokrovsky. But we do our best for the stability of our combat brigades. And separately – an operation in the Kursk region. About 40,000 Russian troops have already been diverted in this direction. Our active actions continue. There is also replenishment of the exchange fund for us, for Ukraine. All these are important things that affect the general situation in the war. I thank all our combat brigades, every soldier, sergeant, every commander for their bravery.

And one more thing.

We are preparing for important negotiations with our European partners – with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. Right now, before the winter season and in general this especially important autumn, we have many issues that have a critical impact on Ukraine and the lives of our people. Of course, energy is an urgent priority. The front is an unchanging priority. This is the supply and joint production of weapons. Political interaction – we have already started negotiations regarding Ukraine’s accession to the European Union, and the negotiation process should be so active that it really strengthens the entire European system. There can be no doubts about the strength of the European project. And also – the topic of Russian assets. What should be aimed at protecting life in Ukraine from Russian aggression. There is a clear decision about 50 billion for Ukraine at the expense of Russian assets, and a mechanism for implementation is needed. So that it will be felt in the near future: there is such support for Ukraine.

I thank everyone who helps Ukraine! I thank all our people!

Glory to Ukraine!
