Sergey Yakirovych was dismissed from the post of head coach of “Dynamo” Zagreb after a crushing defeat by “Bavaria” Munich (2:9) in the match of the main round of the Champions League.
It is reported that the first team will be led by former member of the coaching staff, Sandro Perkovic, until a decision is made on a new long-term coaching decision.
Yakirowicz started working with Dynamo Zagreb in August 2023. Last season, the team under the leadership of the Bosnian specialist made a golden double.
After 6 rounds of the new Croatian championship season, Dynamo is in third place, one point behind the leaders.
It should be noted that “Dynamo” Zagreb became the first club in the history of the Champions League (since 1992) to concede 9 goals in one match.
