A well-known heavyweight Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs) shared his expectations for the rematch between the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KO) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs):
“Tyson is much more focused and I think that will change everything. He is more determined to put on a better performance.”
On the night of May 19, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) won the title of absolute world champion in the heavyweight division in a fight against the British Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs). Usyk defeated Fury by split decision: Usyk 115-112, Fury 114-113, Usyk 114-113. The rematch will take place on December 21.
