On the night of Thursday, September 19, the Russian invaders hit Ukraine with three S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, an Kh-59/69 guided air missile and 42 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed all drones and the Kh-59/69 missile.
This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that Russia launched S-300/S-400 missiles over Kharkiv Oblast from Belgorod Oblast, X-59/69 missiles from the airspace of the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as missiles from Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk, RF.
According to the Air Force, the attack was repulsed by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups and units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Anti-aircraft defense worked in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
On the night of September 19, an air alert was announced in Ukraine due to a UAV attack. Shaheds were spotted, in particular, in the airspace of the Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy and Odesa regions.
