The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga announced plans to expand the consular presence of Ukraine in Slovakia and open a new Consulate General, reports UNN.

“Among the priority tasks for Ukraine and for me as the Minister of Foreign Affairs is the protection of our citizens abroad. I am grateful to Slovakia, which hospitably received a large number of Ukrainians. To protect the legal rights and interests of our citizens, we plan to expand the consular presence of Ukraine in Slovakia and open a new General consulate,” Sibiga said at a press conference with Slovakia’s Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar.
