Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk commented on the victory over British Heather Watson in the second round of the WTA 500 tournament in Seoul – 6:2, 6:2.
“What are the feelings? It is hot and very humid here. As I said after the first match, the conditions here are very difficult. I hope it will get better from Friday. Drink plenty of water and stay in the shade.
I’m having a great time here. South Korea is my favorite country in Asia so far. I haven’t been to many, but this is definitely #1 so far. Amazing cuisine, amazing people. Thank you,” said Marta.
In the 1/4 finals, Kostyuk will play against the fourth-seeded “neutral” tennis player Diana Schneider (#20 WTA).
