At that time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga said that he considers the measures taken against Usyk “disproportionate and unacceptable” and intends to send a corresponding note to the Polish side.

Later, Usyk was released, the athlete himself explained that there was a misunderstanding and that everything is fine with him.
