On September 17, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that after the launch of the “Marriage Online” function on the Diya portal, 750,000 Ukrainians proposed to their partners. Of them, 90,000 received the answer “Yes”.
In the online format, 219 couples officially got married, and 2,800 Ukrainians applied for marriage. Fedorov also noted that after confirmation of the marriage proposal through Diya, the marriage certificate will automatically appear in the application. If desired, it can also be received by mail.
The minister added that getting married in “Dia” has become a popular meme among Ukrainians on social networks.

We will also remind you that currently Ukrainians can only get married using the Diya mobile application, and the divorce function has not yet been implemented, but it may appear in the future.
