President Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the law, according to which the Forces of unmanned systems are defined as a separate branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the card of the law No. 11507 on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

On September 3, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading the law, which provides for the inclusion of the Forces of unmanned systems in certain branches of the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The law normalizes the regulatory framework for the creation of the Unmanned Systems Forces as a separate type of military, approves full-time positions for working with drones, training, systematization of experience, and scale-up of production.

Inexpensive FPV drones with shells have caused revolutionary changes on the battlefield in Ukraine. The more active their use is, the greater the need for the military to find ways to counter the deadly threat posed by such UAVs. Camouflage, gun systems and other means of combating drones used by the Ukrainian and Russian troops are in this photo gallery.

At the beginning of May, the Cabinet of Ministers supported the project of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi on the creation of the Unmanned Systems Forces as a separate type of troops within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
