The striker of the women’s team of Turin Juventus Alisha Lehmann spoke about salaries in women’s football. Her words are quoted by RMC Sport.
“After training, I often tell Douglas (Alisha’s boyfriend – Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz – approx.) that it’s not fair. We do the same job, but he earns 100 times more than me.
Equal pay is something that concerns me because I am a woman. With my teammates, we can try to develop Italian women’s football, support women. But I always think it’s a long process. We need time,” said Lehmann.
