In July, Denmark ordered the production of 18 Bogdan self-propelled howitzers for the Ukrainian military.
In April, the country’s government, together with parties in the parliament, agreed to increase military support to Ukraine by an additional 4.4 billion Danish kroner (590 million euros) in 2024.
Before that, it became known that Denmark became the first country to purchase weapons and military equipment for the Armed Forces from Ukrainian manufacturers at its own expense. The Danish government allocated 200 million Danish kroner (almost 300 million euros) for investment in the Ukrainian defense industry. The money is allocated for the creation of “significant” naval potential, drones and the production of missile components.
