President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and Poland Gabrielus Landsbergis and Radoslav Sikorskyi.
The head of state thanked the partners for their significant defense support, in particular for the recent decisions on new aid packages.
“Thank you to your countries and peoples for their constant support. We are grateful that you are with us from the very beginning and until our joint victory,” the President noted.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed about the constant missile and bomb terror from the Russian Federation and emphasized the need to use long-range weapons for military purposes on the territory of the aggressor state.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the implementation of bilateral security agreements, the implementation of the points of the Peace Formula, preparations for the second Peace Summit, as well as negotiations between Ukraine and the EU. In particular, they discussed the importance of the future presidency of Poland in the Council of the European Union for the implementation of the priorities of our country on the path of European integration.
The head of state also noted the support of Lithuania and Poland for Ukraine on the way to joining the EU and NATO.
“Acquiring membership in NATO is our strategic goal. This is the single most reliable security guarantee for Ukraine and the whole of Europe today,” concluded Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
