People’s deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this with reference to the words of representatives of the Ministry of Finance.
“The Ministry of Finance reported that there is a provision in the IMF program that if there are significant changes in revenues and expenditures in the 2025 Budget, there will be a demand for an additional increase in taxes, in particular VAT,” he said.
However, according to the current indicators on which the draft budget for 2025 is based, there is no such need, says the People’s Deputy.
